The Lohn ISD Board of Trustees adopted a tax rate ($1.17) that wil raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year's rate.

The tax rate will effectively be raised by 9.89 percent and will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $129.84.

This rate will trigger a tax ratification election which will be held November 8, 2011.
