The Lohn ISD Board of Trustees adopted a M&O tax rate ($1.17) that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year's rate. With the I&S tax rate of $0.0602, the total tax rate for Lohn ISD will be $1.2302.

The tax rate will effectively be raised by 9.89 percent and will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $129.84.

This rate will trigger a tax ratification election which will be held November 8, 2011.
